White Oak Planks

White Oak is the species of wood that works best on trailer decks, truck side boards, landscaping applications or sometimes on barn floors. It is tough and rot resistant. This material is sawed to be strong and sound, but may contain some knots and splits. It is not kiln dried, so the moisture content will vary depending on when it was sawn. Some shrinkage may occur over time.

Most of our inventory is in 2" thick material. We usually have 8", 10" and 12" widths in lengths of 8', 10', 12', 14', and 16'. Be sure to call or email to check our inventory before coming to get an order because availability can change. Prices will vary depending on widths and lengths. It is generally a better value to purchase shorter lengths if you can, because there is a premium charge for longer lengths

We also get a smaller amount of 1 1/2" thick material in 8" widths, and either 8' or 10' lengths.

There is also some availability of 4" x 6" pieces that will sometimes be used in landscaping, barns or wagon runners.
